Project Overview
LogiFlow modernized the supply chain operations of a mid-market logistics company, replacing manual spreadsheet-based processes with an AI-driven platform that predicts demand, triggers procurement automatically, and maintains supplier relationships through structured communication.
The Challenge
The client was managing supply chain operations across 12 warehouses with Excel spreadsheets and email chains. Stockouts cost $2.3M annually. Procurement lead times averaged 21 days. The CTO needed a system that could integrate with their existing ERP without a full replacement.
Our Approach
I built a middleware integration layer connecting their SAP ERP to a new AI forecasting engine. The system monitors inventory levels in real-time, uses ML models trained on 3 years of historical data to predict demand, and automatically generates purchase orders when thresholds are crossed.
Architecture & Execution
Event-driven architecture using AWS EventBridge. NestJS API layer with GraphQL. React dashboard with real-time WebSocket updates. PostgreSQL for transactional data, TimescaleDB for time-series analytics. ML models deployed on AWS SageMaker.
